Hi Dylan,

I really need to thank you in the name of all motorcycle enthusiast of Denmark and half of Europe.
You and your team managed to capture some of the most intense moments in the macrocosms of motorcycle.
The camera work is awesome , the whole editing tempo and sound works are really professional and the intimacy you share with us , taking us deep into the factories, on the tracks and the museums is just mouth watering.
I really enjoyed all the Italian mini series and BWW of course, not just because I think its the most beautiful area of Europe to live and drive around.
My new Monster will arrive in exact 40 days from now and i cant wait a single day more :)
I just wanted to ask if its possible to buy the whole program in some proper HD format... That would really make my day and be a great gift for any motorcycle fan.

Great job guys...

Excellent work, Dylan.
Really interesting (I'm a history buff as much as I am a gearhead) to get the stories behind those marques that haven't always gotten the sort of press and attention they've deserved...

I just posted about it too. :-)

Hey BedMac-

That's a very valid point...

This is probably to lengthy an answer, but here's where we were coming from -- One of the tightropes that we often find ourselves walking while producing this moto-content is that we have to try and balance what's key information for both a gearhead specific audience and what's too in-depth for a non-gearhead audience.

Realistically, if you look at the demographics, the make up of a normal broadcast audience is rarely an exclusively gearhead audience, that is to say you can't make the assumption that everyone who's watching is extremely well-versed in every technical detail. So often times we find ourselves favoring the less technical part of the audience because otherwise those viewers will change channels or in the case of the online vids, go to a new website.

I'll give you a good example -- I believe that in every film that has a variant of a naked bike, we explain what a naked bike is -- clearly if this was only being produced for a motorcycle specific audience, we'd be able to make the assumption that everyone knows what a naked bike is and simply get to the details involved - but because of width and breath of the potential audience for Twist The Throttle, we didn't feel like we could do that...

Plus if we dove into every detail right now, what would we do next? ;)

Have a great night,
Dylan

Congrats. I watched all four of the Ducati segments and enjoyed what I saw but I didn't hear one mention of the desmodromic valve system. Did I miss it? That is such a fundamental and unique aspect of Ducati motorcycles it would seem impossible to cover the marque without saying something about it.

My favorite so far is the Bimota series. It is great to hear the history and watch them actually build the bikes by hand. Bimota should pay you guys for that series. I want to spend my kids college fund on one. Awsome job!
