March 25th Motoczysz Doc Airs in US

Mark your calendars ladies and gents because the Discovery Channel Documentary chronicling Team Motoczysz has finally received a US airdate on Discovery International…

MotoCzysz Documentary US Dates Released

Discovery International to air the MotoCzysz HD Documentary “Birth of a Racer” in the US on March 25th, at 8:00pm Eastern/Pacific.

Awhile back - before the holidays - the folks at Motoczysz were kind enough to send me an advanced copy of the program to check out. While I won’t spoil the show for anyone, I’ve got to say that it’s truly remarkable to watch what they’ve been up to and how they’ve gone about achieving something as arduous as producing a roadracing sportbike from scratch.

At some point I’ll try to write up a more thoughtful review, but the thirty second version is that it’s well worth the watch imho…

And if you’re new to the whole Motoczysz project, check out this cracking behind-the-scenes article by AngryBob from MotorcycleBloggers.

    Hello -

I am very interested ! Is “Discovery Channel International” an adiditonal channel or will they aire this on the normal Discovery Channel? Or are they one-in-the-same?

    thanks

Hey ya Hoyt - Looks like the show will air on Discovery HD Theater, not the Discovery Channel.

It is annoying that Discovery would not promote this show more than it has on their main channel, so it can be viewed by the masses…..

This is especially frustrating during a year where Indianapolis and MotoGP are trying their best to promote a very entertaining sport/hobby.

I look forward to some other medium to view this program. Hopefully, Discovery will see the marketing potential and aire this show on their main station in the coming months before/after Laguna Seca & Indy.

Discovery and Speed Channel need to step up.
