The italblog forums are speculating it’s a test pilot. Or maybe it’s someone that bought all the NYSE shares when they de-listed themselves so Ducati gave him an early Christmas gift. Whatever, it’s exciting to see the beast actually being ridden in public instead of just sitting there like garage decoration. I think it’s my civic duty to volunteer to do a long-term test of one in the US. I’m consoling myself by thinking that the rider got mugged for the bike before he rode three blocks.
