Another 1st Hand Review of The 1098

I missed this one, but a member of the Bike SA Magazine forum has posted a pretty sweet first hand review of the 1098 from the press intro launch. It’s a worthwhile read to say the least…

Turning left onto the old straight and thinking back I realise this is the exact same spot where my own twin almost spit me of a few years ago, but the Ducati simply breezes through the corner at full throttle making the little rest down the old straight much shorter than usual. It would be difficult to judge but I believe this bike should be able to keep a modern 1000cc Japanese bike at bay on this straight. Has the Italian stable achieved what we all beleived to be imposibble ? By the seat of my pants this bike feels as strong as my current 1000cc Japanese superbike.

Honestly, who can’t get enough of this stuff?
