The ‘ol rumor mill is definitely gonna be churning today… A fellow over on the Ducati Monster board with an astute eye noticed something interesting in the background of a Pierre Terblanche interview during a recent Discovery HD program called “Eye of Beholder” and pulled these still frames. I haven’t seen the program as of yet - but during the interview what appears to be an artist rendering of a single-sided swingarmed superbike is clearly noticeable on a computer display. Is it a superbike? A new ST? The updated Strada? Was it even an unintentional leak? Who knows, you decide.

I am the one who took the picture.. I think it the early sketch of next gen superbike rendering.. everyone by now has read the the design cue will be going back to 916/996 style SSSarm & underside exhausts etc..
Looks like Terblanche has got his eye elsewhere in that still frame. Perhaps searching for future design cues…
