					<description>Not sure I buy any rumor claiming that Ducati is going to pull out of the the largest racing association in the States. The American market is still their largest arena for sales and leaving the AMA series would no doubt only serve to reinforce the notion that Japanese bikes are currently superior on the racetrack. Pretty hard to sell $17,000 superbikes while supporting that kind of logic. That being said, I suspect any racing rumors right now are predicated on the fact that Ducati wants to increase their displacement from 1000cc's to 1200cc's or thereabouts and since the Japanese are against it there's a tremendous amount of posturing going on.</description>
