Well, after a number of months of hard work and fun times the sportbike show that I’ve been working on finally has a scheduled airdate! Speed On Two Wheels will offically premiere on April 19th at 10 PM on The Science Channel (or Discovery Science as it’s called on some cable outlets). The show highlights how sportbikes work in general terms and features Nick Ienatsch, Tommy and Roger Hayden, Mat Mladin, Reg Pridmore and a host of other cool folks sharing their knowledge of sportbikes. There are several parts I really enjoyed being around for but perhaps my favorite is the nuts & bolts build up of a Kawasaki Superstock Race Bike… As with all of the television shows I’ve worked on when you get to the end it’s always cool and interesting to see how other folks react to the work. Especially folks who haven’t been close to the ups and downs of production. In this particular case I’m sure that there will be some non-riders who learn some stuff they didn’t know and some long-time serious sportbike riders who feel that the show isn’t technical enough for their tastes, but as these sort of programs go I think it turned out to be a fun watch. Hopefully others will agree…

Dylan,
For those of us that are not into the cable world- spending too much money on bike parts- is there any other way to see your movie?
and is that 10 pm pacific
Thank you
Outstanding! Heh - Can you send me a reminder?
I will do everything I can to remember to check this out.
Looks like a promising venture. The show needs to make it to air in Canada. There’s a large bike market here, and they want this kind of programming. Here’s hoping the show is successfull enough to be released on a larger scale.
I watched it and loved it. I wish it was a show every week.
