Came across a nifty video this moring of an MV Agusta Brutale running around the Sepang Track. It’s a pretty hefty download, standing in at roughly 60 megs, but worth it if you’ve got the time. It never ceases to amaze me how much money motorcycle companies will spend on promotional videos of their products that rarely if ever get seen by the general public. Unlike other types of products where you can flip on the ‘ol tv and catch a clip inbetween your favorite shows, motorcycle promotional videos seems to only show up online or at your local CycleWorld Motorcycle Show… Obviously I’m not a PR person, but I sort of wonder how effective vids like this are when the product that these companies are selling is as much about the ‘feel’ as the ‘look’… And ultimately many people see something like this and go, ‘ah ha.. that’s the bike I’ve got to have’…
Personally, when it comes to promo vids I still think KTM takes the cake for their creative vision of the SuperDuke. At least that vid tried to say ’something’…
You can download the Brutale Video here - it’s a zip file that needs to be decompressed on your end…
Edit: Errr small error on my part - the link should now work
