There’s another 999 big bore rumor going around, apparently according to Motorcycle Racer magazine (Great Britain) is reporting that:
“Ducati is already developing a big-bore version of it’s current Testastretta engine.” as part of it’s future showroom lineup. It states that Claudio Domencali has given the go-ahead to launch a 1,120cc 999 superbike to the public in the next year or two, and that Ducati still sees the 999 as it’s flagship customer bike for the forseeable future.”
