Trackday : The Day Before

27 March 2005 10 views 2 Comments

Its amazing, I feel like I’m a five year old on the night before christmas. I’m genuinely so excited right now it’s a bit scarry. I can’t say that I’ve been this stoked about something that’s this personal to me for quite awhile. As MotorMilt & I get closer and closer to hitting the road in order to get to the track, I find that a lot of my concerns about being out on the track have been replaced by this slighty out of body focus on the event. Not sure if that makes any sense, but basically the closer we get to tomorrow morning the more excited I keep getting. A permagrin smile keeps showing up everytime I think about finally being able to let the Ducs loose in a way that I’ve never experienced on them before and that’s pretty cool. Seems like its been so long since we signed up. I really can’t wait to just get out there already!

I know the feeling. It explains perfectly why I only got 4 hours or so of sleep before I hit the track for the first time last year. I don’t know how CLASS is organized, but if its anything like Superbike School, they know everyone is pretty wound up and ease you in to the whole experience at a sane pace.

So, how did it go? I can’t wait to read the write-up. I just got a mailer for Keith Code’s school today and I immediately wondered about you and MotorMilt.
