Just as blogging has become the new high speed internet thing to do this year (which of course I’m guilty of as much as the next person ), end of the year ‘what I’ve been reading’ or blog top ten lists. Seeing as how I’m not one to buck the trend, I thought […]

It’s raining right now in LA and the long term forcast is for this to continue past this weekend. How wonderful. LA in the rain is akin to a low brow car crash derby video that’s consistently looping… Saw two accidents on my way home during my 5 minute, 3 stop light commute yesterday. I […]

8. 23. 33. 126. 128. 150. 227. 999. 1340. These are the numbers that continue to roll around in my head tonight. It has simply been such an amazing day that right now as I sit here typing this blog entry and aching all over, I’m blown away with how special and unique the last […]

Today’s ride was absolutely glorious. For much of the morning I felt like I was perpetually stuck in that wonderful moment when you’re slowly waking up after sleeping in on a quiet morning. Strange analogy I know, principally because it sounds greatly unsafe. Yet this morning ebbed and flowed in the most unlikely of manors. […]

After my short hiatus and unfortunate domain name web address change due to hosting issues, TwistingAspahlt has been racking up the hits and unique visitors. It’s looking more and more like this will be the banner month in terms of readership, unique visitors and views since I started the site, which is pretty cool. A […]

One of the more fascinating past times I’ve noticed while reading a variety of ducati message boards is that people tend to continually post about eBay auctions that they either find of great interest or because they believe them to be total scams. Perhaps this is the modern technology equivalent of guys standing outside The […]

Every now and then you stumble across something on the ‘net that just makes you wonder. Tonight, over on the Ducati.ms Forum I saw a link to Sidecar Club Praha, where someone has decided to fabricate a sidecar for their 996… Begging the question, is anything still sacred in this world?
I guess this just goes […]

A few folks noticed that I never explained what happened to MotorMilt’s Ducati. As some of you might recall Milt’s 999 started smoking during the middle of a ride up to the canyons right after we got both of our bikes back from ProItalia after they had done the 600 mile service. In what I […]

MotorMilt & I aren’t exactly the most holiday oriented people out there, but I guess everyone eventually gets caught up in the gift giving season. Actually I don’t mean to speak for ‘ol MotorMilt, he can do that for himself. But I’m definately one of those folks who seldom remembers any important dates, anniversaries or […]

While surfing the net this afternoon, I came across another Ducati Riders Club. DesmOhio, a website for the Ducati Enthusiasts Sport Motorcyclists of Ohio club. Doesn’t look quite as active as some other Duc clubs, but well worth a visit. Some nice information going back and forth on their forum…
