As some of you might have noticed Twisting Asphalt is broken at the moment and honestly, I’ve got no idea what happened or why. The site was functioning perfectly for over a year and then bam, all hell breaks loose. It is perhaps one of the scarier facets of the digital age, when the site vanishes and you sit there thinking, ‘oh crap, everything is lost’. Thankfully the fine folks at Hosting Matters saved the day, so I’m now in the middle of upgrading from Wordpress 2.0.4 to Wordpress 2.6 and it might take a few days to sort out the bugs. I apologize in advance as in the past when I’ve upgraded I’ve tried to sort things out on a hidden site where new additions can be tested. This time unfortunately that won’t be possible… Of course perhaps this was just the internet’s way of saying it was time to change things up, who knows… Anyway hopefully things will be back to normal by the end of the weekend.
