If you’ve always wanted to be just like Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise and roll up to The Rock Store on a piece of heavy metal machinery, well it turns out this is a your lucky day because California based Motorcycle Rentals & Tours is now renting the brand new Desmsedici for a mere $600 USD a day (or $3,800 a week). Of course if you’re a throttle jockey don’t get your hopes up – taking the ‘sedici to the track is strickly forbotten…

    I wouldn’t mind getting my leg over that machine for a day and seeing how it feels like to be on a purpose built track machine even if it was on the mountains and highways! Its such a machine that just has to be ridden!

    Its just beautiful!

    They would enjoy it as well, and then they would sell it for a profit after getting all they wanted from this machine!

    Agreed… Assuming you meet the terms for the rental – which are pretty hefty if you read the rental terms – $600 for a day seems like a pretty cracking deal imho…

    Sounds like a bunch of BS! This guy has to be CRAZY! $25,000 deposit…LOL. Then how do you prove to him you have 100K net worth without giving him your financials?? Only a complete idiot would rent under these terms. Oh yeah, you have to go on a ride with him too. If you can afford a desmo buy one.
    This guy has all kinds of crazy terms…check them out for a good laugh.

    I rented from a company http://SportbikeRental.com and I later purchased my 1098. They were joking about renting a desmo some day.

    I wonder of they will carry this thing too??

    $600 a day is INSANE!

    I would never rent a $75000.00 motorcycle. It is just funny what people will do to justify owning a motorcycle this expensive.
    I could see him now “Honey, I will just rent it out and make all the money back!” And in the back of his mind, “I will just charge way too much, make up insane terms that no one will meet and then the bike is all MINE!” Too funny.

    Called them…no answer, then the guy called back and said he was at the fish store?WTF?? Anyway, the terms of the rental are not easily met. I told him a little bit about myself, and in the end he does not even have a Desmo for rent. He has never even laid his own hands on one! So just like we read above it’s a bunch of BS!
