Crash.net has posted a new review of the 1098S (in black)…

Right, let’s get this story straight, and put my opinion of the Ducati 1098 S into context right from the start… this bike inspires me in a way no other road bike I’ve ridden before has ever done. And I’ve lost count of how many I’ve ridden.

Now I don’t care if you think my claim is completely over the top. It’s an honest view, and exactly what I think about this astounding bike. When it comes to emotive power the Duke has not a single peer in my book.

There are bikes out there that can rival and even beat its absolute performance, and a fair few that are easier to get the best from. But on the right road, at the right time, nothing, but nothing can match the sheer pleasure and thrill of experiencing this amazing bike. It’s not perfect by any means, and there are times when you can hate it as much as love it. But the 1098 S is one incredible motorcycle.
