1098 Service Costs – Are They Lower?

The folks over at Bikeland.org have published an interesting article detailing their attempt to price check several Ducati dealers on the new “50% less maintenance” service costs. Worth the read imho — You can check out the results of their survey here.

    I saw this in a couple of different sites. It really is too bad but not totally surprising to me. I feel extremely lucky to have access to a really honest dealer and wonder if I would own a Ducati if I did not.

    Yes, sounds like my ST3 story all over again. Between Spectrum Motorsports and Hahm (Newport Motorsports) I am constantly being quoted vastly differing prices for scheduled maint.

    All I can say is it gives me a feeling of complete distrust for the dealerships. It’s a shame DNA can’t somehow hold their “feet to the fire” in terms of honoring (or beating) factory recommended pricing for maint.

    Love my Duc, greatly dislike the dealers.
