NCR’s ‘New Blue’ Update

NCR New Blue Ducati

After yesterdays Ducati / NCR ‘New Blue’ Pict, Tipster Tim M passed this pict along of the right side of the bike along with a few thoughts…

Have you seen the other side? Kinda wacky-looking exhaust routing. But a 315-pound liter bike with about 125 hp–yeeoww!!

And I should credit “Dragsterhund” from the Ducati Monsterlist as the source of that photo. Seeing th pic again, that seat color sure bugs me, maybe because it reminds me of a sheepskin seat cover and it would probably show dirt quickly. A minor detail-it gives me MH900e-ish lust! Probably has a full Poggipolini ti bolt kit to drop so much weight.

Those pipes must sound incredible. They look good, too.
I like the seat — looks comfy, but point well taken about showing blemishes.

If someone is going to abandon the “Classic” look of the bike then why don’t they come up with an arrangement to tuck the pipes under the seat like the superbike? I own a Paul Smart and I know there is lotsa room for that; and I belief it will make the bike look really hot.

By the way which girly man come up with the paint scheme? Poofy Power blue body work with a light tan suede seat don’t work for me – or a lot of men for that matter — even if it does produce 125 horses.
