I know what you mean. I <a href="http://www.whybike.com/blog/index.php?p=29">rode over to Stinson Beach</a> up in Northern California only to find Highway 1 closed for the best part along the cliffs. The detour over mount Tam wasn't too bad but the increased traffic volume sucked. What part of loud pipes and my high beam would you not understand as "use the pullouts"? I am just cagy from not doing any technical riding since before Christmas. Anyway at least I got some <a href="http://www.whybike.com/video.htm">good video</a> up to the summit. Man!
